Who we are

This site is software built and operated by an independent developer, made available for grassroots football clubs to use to share fixtures, results, squad information, and match statistics — currently including Berks County. Match data, ratings, and fixtures are entered and kept up to date by Berks County's own staff (who may be club volunteers), not by us. If you have a question about your data, or want to see who to contact directly, use our data deletion request page.

What we collect

About players (added by staff — players don't have accounts of their own):

• Name and jersey number
• Position(s) played
• Match record: appearances, minutes played, goals, assists, cards, a post-match rating, and Man of the Match/captain status

About staff who log in to manage the squad:

• Email address and password, handled entirely by our login provider (Supabase) — we never see or store your actual password

Why we process this data

• Match and squad records are kept to run the team — selecting lineups, tracking performance, and club administration.

How long we keep it

Match and performance records are retained for club history — season results, league tables, and player records that families and alumni can look back on. A player's personal identifiers (name, jersey number) are removed on request, or when they leave the club, whichever is sooner. We review this each pre-season. When a player turns 18, we review their record to confirm they're happy for it to remain, or offer to remove/anonymise it.

Who else sees this data

We use two processors to run this site, and no others: Supabase (our database and staff login system) and Vercel (website hosting). Neither uses your data for anything beyond running this site. We don't sell data, run ads, or share it with anyone else.

Your rights

You can ask us what data we hold about you or your child, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time — use the data deletion request page. We aim to respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Keeping children safe online

We've thought about the fact that this site — including pages showing children's names — can be viewed by anyone without logging in. We keep the information shown to the minimum needed to run the team (first name context, squad number, no home addresses, school details, or other identifying information beyond what's necessary), and we act on removal requests promptly. If you have safeguarding concerns about anything on this site, please contact us straight away.

If something goes wrong

In the unlikely event of a data breach affecting your information, we'll notify you and, where required, the ICO, without undue delay.
